"R for Rainbow" is an interactive project developed through the period when the lockdown
was imposed for the first time in 2021. My two-year-old daughter Sarah carried out the key
performance in this project.

Ever since the restriction was introduced on outdoor activities, Sarah replaced those by giving
herself a little more freedom to make graffiti all over the interior wall. Meanwhile, I kept myself
busy photographing her work in progress. Finally, by placing some of the photographs into her scrabble drawing, I tried to frame the emotional state during our days in confinement.

The project was a therapeutic process that enabled us to sustain resilience during unpredictable circumstances.
